2,000th Post

This is my 2,000th post here on the Aldo Strada Blog and I just wanted to say thank you to all the dedicated visitors of the blog. Much more to come! To Celebrate I bring you some annoying yet funny gifs that will be sure to crash your windows computer.

Ok so a quick rundown of updates:

1. Podcasts will be done on a bi-weekly basis from here on out. Whether its a 30 min mix from me or a mix I did from another show or even the original format with guests (not going away fully) it will be done. I know alot of you have emailed me about my laziness about it and it is true. I still have a podcast to do with Van Scott in the guest mix (2nd time out). My laptop setup where I do my mixes now is a bit stupid since I upgraded to snow leopard. Still no more excuses first of many podcasts to come this Sunday!

2. The blog will stay the same except I'll try to do a bit more posting of EDM stuff....ex: free music links, music videos, live dates, etc. I didn't intend on this being a lifestyle blog only.

3. Don't watch the documentary Food Inc. It has fucked me up (I watched it almost 3 weeks ago and Im still haunted by it). Eat organic local products and Corn is evil (if you watch the movie you will find the humor in that statement). Oh and my birthday is at the end of next month (dec 31st) so be sure to buy me a present....add me on facebook (aldo strada obviously idiot) and thats about it Im droning on here......afas.f/afdsghwrhwref

1,000 Post / Podcast 041

Hey Everyone. Im very happy to say this is my 1,000 post! Yeah I cant believe it either! Id like to thank everyone who has visited, all the feedback received positive and negative (go fuck yourself), and all the daily dimes (holler at your boy). I must say its been pretty fun doing this because its a good way to share your interests with your fans or whatever and also drop knowledge at the same time...I've been told I was one of the main reasons of Obama getting elected. Anyway im blabbing but I wanted to say thanks and keep it bookmarked/locked on the blog because Im not going anywhere!

I just finished my podcast 041 last night and that will be coming out this Sunday the 5th of July. Its basically one half of my summer promo mix that I will upload as well to the blog later this month (July). If you have been a subscriber to the podcast you will definitely get a good feel for what a live set is from me with this mix. Also you will definitely see how Ive gone from electro house to techno based mixed genres? If that makes any sense. God I sound like one of those artists that classifies his music in a unique way what a tool.

Kanye's Drop Tomorrow

The Kanye West Nike Kicks known as the Air Yeezy's drop tomorrow in selected stores. They are supposed to be a "limited release" at 9,000 pairs lol. Prices are in the $200 range which is kinda ridiculous considering the economy. Anyways sneaker heads/hipster fucks/nerds are lining up at places. Why people still do this is beyond me but yeah they come out tomorrow.

1. Obama getting elected. Yeah I know this is quite a international blog and most of my fans are not from America but this was big for the USA. I mean George Bush come on....Cristiano Ronaldo would be a better president.

2. The sports world....a very watchable Olympics, a exciting Euro, a Super Bowl finale that was crazy, Tiger Woods winning the US Open on one leg, Roger Federer v Nadal!!!!, Celtics v Lakers, Sid the Kid and Malkin, and of course Inter winning the scudetto...again!

3. This blog starting!
