Gumball 3000 Starts Tomorrow!

The now legendary road race kicks off its 14th edition tomorrow in NYC's times square at noon. I will be there to attend the festivities. If your not familiar with the Gumball, it is a wild race that takes place over a few days and has various check points along the way. Everyone from rich elite to celebrities to athletes compete and some of the worlds most exclusive cars take part in it. This year it takes part in the US & Canada and if you are based there and want to hang out driving on the highway to see any of these cars/people check the link here. Should be a great Gumball and sure to be some hilarious videos on the way. I'll definitely posting some photos of Fridays kickoff event. See you there! Ferrari has been known to make one-off's for wealthy customers/collectors. One who fits that bill is Eric Clapton. Those at Ferrarichat.com have spotted a car built for Eric Clapton that features a 458 Italia base with styling refrences from V12 512BB from the late 70s early 80s.

Looks just like a run of the mill super car huh. Well its a Koenigsegg which means it is fast as fuck and crazy as fuck. This new creation is like no other. Its top speed.....273mph(440km/h) yes 2...7...3..WTF? Here are some records done recently in it :

0-300 km/h in 14.53 sec, 300-0 km/h in 6.66 sec, 0-200 mph in 17.68 sec, 200-0 mph in 7.28 sec

Mr. Pagani makes the craziest cars hopefully one day I will be able to buy/drive one. Sadly I can not pronounce the name of this car and if I do it sounds like Im sick hacking up flem. Still amazing car with great youtube video on how it was made.
